“ This place has been around for quite some time. It's casual and comfy. No one would describe it as upscale but it has been updated regularly. Waitstaff is always welcoming and attentive. There's lots of comfort food on their menu but it's their fresh baked must be homemade. Virtually no one serves pie crust like their pie crust and that's what brings me back. I ordered my rhubarb pie at the same time as my sandwich, however it came first. I eyed it at first, then I figured lightning wouldn't if I started in on it. and another piece for later ”
“ VERY good food and service. Definitely will be back. Patty melt was amazing. Turkey BLT was great. Love the bar stools and inside setup. Definitely eating inside next time. ”
“ We love Village Kitchen! We've only had breakfast, but plan on doing dinner soon. Every time we stop by, there's a line out the door, though we're usually seated in about 10 minutes. Service is always quick and efficient. The food is so worth it, with the french toast becoming our latest fave. Don't expect anything contemporary there, just enjoy the small town, down home experience. ”
“ I've been going to the Village kitchen for many many years now and I have never had a bad meal or bad service there! Angola just lost 2 breakfast places and one of the remaining 3 isn't doing well but, the Village Kitchen survives because of consistency! My compliments to Rick Morris and his staff! ”
“ Nice little place for comfort food, friendly staff and very attentive. Food was good and reasonable. We were driving thru town and needed to eat something other than fast food. I had the patty melt, very good. Grandson had wings that were fried to perfection. Daughter had grilled chicken and spaghetti, also seasoned well and good portions. Granddaughter had smothered chicken but she didn't like it due to it being cooked differently than she expected, nothing wrong with it, just not to her liking with lots of green peppers. ”
“ Cozy family style place that has the best patty melt I’ve ever had. I have been there with people multiple times and even took my mother from Italy to eat there and let me tell you it’s so worth it. Beware it is usually very crowded on weekend, especially Sunday after mass, so finding a spot might be a challenge! The prices are insane for how good the food is. I absolutely recommend to save a bit of stomach space for their pies bc they’re to die for, the pie of the day it’s always a great temptation but my favorite was the sugar free mixed berries pie ”
“ The Village Kitchen feels like a not so secret, secret spot! The dining room is very busy but they keep people moving. Food is delicious and is made to order and comes out fast. The service was friendly and they let us know about the specials. The atmosphere feels like you're sitting in Grandma's kitchen and your breakfast is almost ready! ”
“ The whole experience is the same as far back as I can remember. It's an Angola staple. Amazing food, considerate service, and the small town prices you remember from years past. Get there early. If the parking lot is full expect a brief wait. ”
